About the Artist and Her Work

I graduated from The University of the West of England in 1993 with a BA (hons) Ceramics. I then went on to qualify as a teacher lecturing in Ceramics and Art & Design for ten years.  I now work full time as an artist from my studio in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.

My love of surface pattern, texture and colour led to me working in plaster and mosaic two mediums which are very versatile and tactile. 

Mosaic is also a fantastic medium for students to work with, as it's a really easy technique to learn but one that can produce truly impressive results.  Offering workshops in schools and other community venues has allowed me to continue teaching as I love helping others learns new skills whilst developing their own creativity.
